*Full reason for rating.Direct Impact on Countries Involved*** Depending on the size of the countries involved and their respective military strength, food security can be seriously impacted by a war, even after the war has ended. A good example is Afghanistan where sanctions subsequent to the war (2012) has forced the country into a serious state of food, medical and other shortages.
