Short Explanation	This is a serious problem for rivers, oceans and landfill. It is mostly caused by the manufacture of single use plastic items and the non-recycling of recyclable plastic.
*Full reason for rating.*The manufacture of plastic requires energy. As the change to renewable energy increases the cost of energy, the cost of these single use plastics will increase, defeating the initial benefit of their use. Some form of containers/wrappings will still be needed, and these will all include an energy component in their manufacture and therefore in increase in cost.
